British Airways hostess, 22, who was found dead in her hotel room after failing to show up for flight home from Angola died just four days before her brother's wedding

A 22-year-old British Airways stewardess has died suddenly in an African hotel just days before her brother's wedding.
Emily Dunn, who had a suspected heart condition, was found dead in her room in Angola after she failed to arrive for a flight back to Heathrow.
Colleagues had then rushed to the hotel and found her body on July 16 
A family friend told MailOnline that Robert Dunn had to go ahead with his wedding, believed to be four days after his sister's death, because it was 'too late cancel'.

Her heartbroken parents Gordon and Sheree and brother were too upset to speak at the family home in Congleton, Cheshire.

Her boyfriend James Griffiths, who lives in London, posted a picture of the couple together on Facebook after her death.
Friends rushed to send their condolences, with one saying: I can't begin to imagine what you are going through. Sending loads of love and support your way'.
Neighbours expressed their shock at what had happened.
Lyn Lucas said: 'I was only thinking before the news about when I turned 60 and Emily did the waiting on at the party. She was such a lovely girl.'
'She had loads of potential. She was in China for a year or so and she learnt Chinese. When she came back she got a job in Manchester straight away.
'She was just a go getter, she always had a smile and a wave and was such a pleasant girl.
'It was just so incredibly sad. It must be terribly difficult, very difficult time for the family and her brother Robert too.
'Robert got married last week, he was home for the official wedding from South Africa. This was going to be the big white wedding.
'You know young girls, you see them coming and going. She was such a lovely, lovely, kind girl.
'She wasn't working for BA long as there was a delay with the references from China. It was her dream job and very difficult to get a job with them.
'The family are very close, extremely close actually'.

Emily had only started with BA in May and had told friends of her 'joy' at getting her 'wings'. 
A British Airways spokesman said: 'We were deeply saddened to hear of the death of our colleague, Emily, from a suspected heart condition.
'She was an enthusiastic member of our cabin crew team who enjoyed working for BA. Our thoughts are with her family and friends'. 
The flight from Luanda in Angola to Heathrow she was meant to be working on was cancelled and later flown back to the UK empty. 
It came six days after the death of another member of BA staff.
Another stewardess contracted malaria and died after she flew from London to Ghana. An investigation has since been launched.

BREAKING NEWS: British Airways flight from Las Vegas to London diverted to Montreal over 'bomb threat' 

  • Flight BA274 was due to arrive at 9.20pm in London but has been diverted
  • Spokesman for BA said plane's captain took the decision 'as a precaution'

A British Airways flight travelling from Las Vegas to London Heathrow has been diverted to Montreal after reports of a bomb threat. 
Photographs taken from the airport show a dozen police cars racing to flight BA274, carrying 312 passengers, which made an emergency landing at Trudeau Airport in Dorval at 5.47am local time.
All of the passengers onboard and 16 aeroplane staff were evacuated while Montreal police search the aircraft with sniffer dogs..

A spokesman for British Airways confirmed that the flight had been diverted after a request from the Captain. 
She said: 'Our flight from Las Vegas to Heathrow landed safely this morning at Montreal and customers left the aircraft as normal after the Captain took the decision to divert the aircraft as a precaution. 
'The safety and security of our customers, crew and aircraft are our highest priorities at all times.

BA flight makes emergency landing with 'pilots in oxygen masks amid cockpit burning smell'

A BRITISH Airways flight was forced to emergency land in London with the pilots wearing oxygen masks after they smelled burning in the cockpit.

The BA327 flight from Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris landed shortly after 10.30pm at Heathrow Airport amid reports of "technical issues" on board.
Passenger Dave Luckett, 34, told Express.co.uk that the pilots were wearing oxygen masks after putting out a mayday call halfway through the 40 minute flight.
He said: "The pilots came on after the plane landed and said they could smell burning in the cockpit."
The Reading IT worker added: "It was quite obvious to most of the passengers that there was an emergency going on."
It is thought that a part of the aircraft overheated after problems with a cooling system.
Fire engines met the jet, which was carrying 163 passengers, when it arrived in London.
The flight had already been delayed for two hours when it left Paris shortly before 11pm local time.
Earlier reports of a blaze in the toilets onboard the Airbus A320 have since been dismissed as false.
In April a British Airways flight was forced to make an emergency landing after just 11 minutes when a fire was reportedly discovered in one of the engines.
