Hong Kong 1-5th August

The flight here was so full we had six staff passengers on jump seats, there was an aircraft change from a 58 club to a 70 club world configuration so it messed up the loads!!
Very hot hear when we landed at 345pm local time after a 12hour flight, it was 34degrees ( mid 90's) with a heavy humidity.
The hotel is ok, i have a larger room than normal in the Excelsior, massive bed and so comfy i slept 14 hours last night, i suppose working through the night contributed to that.
Been shopping already but there has just been a huge thunderstrom and torrential rain so i am please i made it back to the hotel in time before getting soaked through to the skin.
Looking forward to the family wedding on Saturday, i am the only cousin invited so mums the word!!!! Don't want others getting too upset that they are not close enough to be considered, suppose because i make the effort with people and i am kind makes all the difference with family relations, i sort of have an adopted family being an only child.
Being alone a lot does get to you at times but i learn to pass the time in my own way, prefer being alone, not keen on mixing to extremes, and there is nothing better than a nice hotel room after a hot bath and getting into egyptian cotton soft clean sheets with fluffy pillows to cuddle all night....mmmmmmmmm lovely zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
