UNION MEETING KEMPTON PARK

It seems like things had just got back to semi-nomality at work, well, i say that, we all tolerate each other on flights not knowing which way colleagues loyalties lie and also that we have no solution in the 18 month ongoing battle with the company.

Tomorrow sees the large union meeting at Kempton Park race course which is literally a 15 minutes drive for me but crew are flying in from all over the world and country and driving from the four corners of the UK for this BASSA meeting.

We have been asked to wear a yellow ribbon or yellow clothing in respect for all our suspended and dismissed crew, i have no ribbon but wearing a t-shirt with yellow piping, it's the best i can do.

I should be there around 1015 for a 1100 start, meeting never starts on time anyway and we are always met with a barrage of press, tv and media outside, they are not allowed in and the building is patrolled by security, we only get in by showing our airline ID's.

However since the last two strikes we all know who went to work, who turned their back on their colleagues and potentially threw away our future terms and conditions by their selfishness for staff travel and personal financial gain....my motto is "SHORT TERM LOSS FOR LONG TERM GAIN"
